Merry Christmas

Well, what a term! We are almost there, only one more week to go before we break for Christmas. The children are extremely tired after a week of performances. They haveĀ all worked very hard over the past couple of weeks in order to prepare andĀ present the Christmas carol service in church, I’m sure you’ll agree, beautifully.

We have a fun week planned next week but learning will still be taking place right up until the end so attendance is important. We have our Christmas party on Wednesday, a time for the children to enjoy themselves and be proud of the efforts they have put in so far this year. We ask that girls bring in a sweet dish and boys a savoury so that we can enjoy a party tea together in the afternoon.

Please keep in mind that it is extremely important for the children to keep up with their reading over the holidays, we know it is a very busy time so we will not be setting any other homework to be completed.

Our last day will be Friday 16th which is Christmas jumper day and a 2pm finish! We wish you all a well deserved, safe and Merry Christmas with your families, a time to relax and enjoy.

Best wishes,

The Year 4 Team.
