National Anti-Bullying Week takes place from Monday, November 16th to Friday, November 20th. We are already very proud of the work we undertake at Newsham Primary to combat any possibility of bullying and the ethos we try to maintain throughout school is a fundamental part of that work. In addition to the overall school climate, we have very comprehensive reporting systems and mechanisms to support children who may feel upset by the actions of others. Our pupils already tell us they feel safe at school and that they know what to do if they feel worried. Finally, our website has many useful links for parents and carers that extend our work in this area. They can be found within the “About” section of our website, by clicking on “Support and Safety” and then “Support for Parents”. We are always available to anyone who wants to make an appointment to come and discuss Anti-Bullying with us in further detail. Thank-you.
