Our Remembrance Service in school took place today, November 4th. We deliberately organised this ahead of Remembrance Sunday on November 8th and Remembrance Day on November 11th to help the children understand these events more fully when they occur over the coming week. As usual, the children really impressed me with their maturity and the level of reflection that they brought to our school service. Remembrance Day is part of our national heritage and I really hope many of our children are able to see some of the nation’s events either in person or on the television over the next few days. Poppies are currently on sale in school with a minimum requested donation of 20 pence. Thanks for your support.
