Science Week and the Port of Blyth

It is National Science Week and lots of exciting curriculum activities have been taking place throughout school. In addition, pupils from Y4 and Y5 have visited the Port of Blyth to take part in some fantastic work around renewable energy.

This has involved understanding the mechanisms of wind turbines and helping to construct a kit car powered by renewable energy! We will add photos and details to our school website as soon as possible and we’re delighted that the children enjoyed such a fantastic experience! Grateful thanks to the partnerships extended by the Port of Blyth and we look forward to developing these still further in the future.
