Y5 Electric Car Project

As I explained in an earlier edition of Newsham News, our Y5 pupils have been involved in an exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) project at the Port of Blyth and built an electric powered car as part of their work. Parents and Carers may have seen some of the time trials they were undertaking on the school playground at the end of a school afternoon recently. It has all been very exciting and the children have loved this project. Well done everyone. Pupils are attending a race event today and I’m sure they will all have a wonderful time!
